The Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Tax deductible donations are accepted and greatly appreciated. Please contact your financial advisor if you need more information about tax deductions when giving to charities.
There are two basic ways to help the Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary with its mission to rescue and care for abused and neglected farm animals: direct assistance and indirect assistance.
Direct assistance
This is where money, materials, or time is given directly to the Sanctuary.
[1] Sponsor an animal
For only a few dollars each month, you know you are making a difference in your favorite animal's lives. These make great gifts for the people you love! For more information see sponsor an animal.
[2] Write a check
If you want to make sure that your money goes towards new buildings and paying off our mortgage, simply write "Capital Campaign" on your check. Or, you can donate to the Molly Medical Fund which was set up to provide emergency health care for our animals. Just write "Molly Medical Fund" on your check.

[3] Donate securities
We are sometimes asked: Can I donate securities that have appreciated in value to Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary and not have to pay capital gains taxes of the value of the gift?
Short answer: YES.

[4] Volunteer time
Help clean pens, set up for events, make repairs, plant trees or anything else we might need to keep up the farm. The work schedule is always posted in the left column of our website. For more information see volunteering.
[5] Book a tour
Are you involved with other groups? Arrange a group tour at the farm. In only costs $3 a person and you get to meet the animals and hear their stories.
[6] Donate a wish list item
Donating food, tools, and other materials is very helpful. Please take a look at our wish list for items that could be put to good use.
[7] Buy something from our online store
Look fantastic in your new clothing and be happy knowing that the proceeds go towards helping the animals. Visit our store, it's open 24/7 online
[8] Spread the word
Tell others about us or invite them to come with you to the farm. The more people who know about us, the more help we get!
Indirect assistance
This is where businesses give part of their profit to the Sanctuary if you shop at their store or use their services. In many cases you need to specify that you would like your donation to go to the Sanctuary.
[1] Rent Cline's Condo for Charities
When you sign the guest book and put Lighthouse Farm Sanctuary as you favorite charity, they will donate funds to us. For more information see Blue Pacific Vacation Rental.
[2] Use Yvonne LeGrice to purchase or sell real estate 
When you use the services of Yvonne LeGrice, a portion of her profits will go to the Sanctuary.
[3] Participate in Change for Change from Whole Foods Market
The Lighthouse is part of Whole Foods Market's Change for Change program which encourages reuse of bags by offering guests 5 cents for bags they bring in to use. Guests can choose to put their 5 cents, in the form of a wooden nickel, into a donation jar. While you help save resources and shop at a store that believes "companies, like individuals, must assume their share of responsibility as tenants of Planet Earth," you can help the Sanctuary.
[4] Shop online at Giveline
Shop at Giveline, which will donate 7% to 33% (average 16%) of your purchase to the Lighthouse. Please use the Giveline link button so that the Lighthouse is assured to get credit for your purchse.
