When the time came that her adoptive family could no longer provide the care she deserved, they reached out to us, and it felt like fate had brought Nellie into our lives. Just a few months prior, we had said goodbye to our beloved blind Bison, Helen, and it seemed as though the universe had conspired to bring Nellie to us.
